HOLISTIC
END-OF-LIFE PLANNING
WORKSHOP

A guided, five-week, in-person exploration for those who wish to know themselves more wholly, live more fully,
and thoughtfully prepare for the inevitable —
together.

PLANNING IN
RELATIONSHIP

End-of-life planning is personal, but it is rarely individual.

Our choices may one day involve partners, parents, children, siblings, close friends, chosen family, representatives, caregivers, and members of our community.

For this reason, this particular workshop is intentionally held in small, relational groups rather than a room of new faces. It may be experienced by a multigenerational family, close friends/chosen family, a small community circle, or several couples exploring alongside one another.

An adapted format is available for individuals and couples. Please reach out to learn more.

When we thoughtfully prepare for death,

we become more present to life.

By exploring our mortality with honesty and care, we can experience greater ease in life and death, knowing we have reflected deeply, communicated openly, and done what we can to prepare.

End-of-life planning is for everyone.

It is not only for older adults, people who are ill, or those facing a crisis, this planning can be especially meaningful for those who:

  • want to plan alongside a partner, family, or trusted circle

  • may one day make decisions for someone they love

  • keep meaning to organize their affairs, but aren't sure where to start

  • are curious about mortality as a path toward fuller living

  • want to begin conversations that are often postponed or avoided

WHAT THIS WORK OFFERS

This is much more than an advance care planning course. It is a community-based, heart-led approach to end-of-life planning that brings together personal reflection, meaningful conversation, and practical preparation.

By the end of the workshop, you will have begun to:

  • come to know what matters most to you

  • turn your values into clear guidance for your care

  • choose the people you trust to speak for and support you

  • share what matters before others are left to guess

  • organize essential legal, financial, and personal information

  • reflect on how you want dying, death, and remembrance to unfold

  • create greater clarity and ease for yourself and the people you love

The purpose is not to anticipate or control every possibility. It is to create a strong foundation — one that helps your life, your care, and your death reflect who you are.

Kind Words

I deeply appreciate the care and thought you have put into this workshop, Charlie. You go beyond the legal lists and practical necessities to honour the love and connection that can be woven through the planning process. This creates greater ease for the loved ones who remain, while also making space for parts of ourselves that may never otherwise have been expressed.

MEET YOUR GUIDE

I created this workshop to expand end-of-life planning beyond documents and practicalities into a deeper exploration of life, self-knowledge, connection, care, and legacy.

At the heart of all I offer is an invitation to meet life with greater intention and presence. My role is to provide a clear map, offer steady companionship and practical support, facilitate meaningful reflection and conversation, and help participants feel better prepared for whatever may come.

Beyond planning, I offer compassionate support to individuals and families throughout dying, death, and the days that follow. I approach this work as a way of life — grounded in how we care for ourselves and one another, how honestly we engage with mortality, and how fully we choose to live. Through deep listening, presence, compassion, and an intuitive attentiveness to the needs of others, I strive to create a loving space for whatever needs to be expressed, witnessed, felt, or held.
